Ways to make a difference

The holidays are the season of giving. Smile at someone, Donating non-perishable items, Donating an unwrapped toy at a toy drive, Send cards to seniors, Give a homeless person a meal or a gift card to a restaurant, Drop off a basket of goodies at your neighbor's home, Pay for someone's meal when you are eating out, Pay for the coffee of the person behind you in line at the coffee shop, Write a thank you cards to service providers who serve your community every day- Police Officers, fireman, mail carrier, trash collectors, etc. This is a good activity for kids.
